ROC - Roanoke Outdoor Circus

Roanoke Ultimate is participating in the first annual Roanoke Outdoor Circus, a new annual event to encourage healthy and active outdoor recreation in the Roanoke Valley. The ROC runs from Friday October 21-Sunday October 23, 2011 at Rivers Edge Sports Complex and locations throughout the Roanoke Valley. Ultimate (Frisbee) events will include a “Hat” tournament, team tournament, Ultimate clinics and workshops, discs skills contests and games, and other activities.

Roanoke Ultimate is conducting a “Hat” tournament in which team rosters are determined by randomly drawing participant names from a hat. Hat tournaments are friendly, casual, and suitable for participants of all experience levels. Registration is required and available prior to and at the fields throughout the evening (latecomers will simply be placed on a team). However, to assist in setting tournament logistics, pre-registration is encouraged. $5 per player tournament fee (payable day of at the fields).

Current limit is 60 players, this is subject to change based on appications.
